I lead engineering for the Digital Shop at Albert Heijn. My work sits at the intersection of people leadership, developer experience, platform thinking, JVM/cloud engineering, and practical AI for software teams.

Peopleware: fun, focus, and 10x teams

I believe ‘10x developers’ are not magic. They are people with clear goals, fewer distractions, psychological safety, and enough room to learn. As a manager, I spend a lot of time removing friction and protecting focus.

Community, talks, and practical learning

I like organizing and speaking at meetups focused on developer craft, cloud, AI, Kotlin, and engineering leadership. I co-organize practical sessions where developers build, discuss, and learn by doing.
